It is that time of year again. As the summer months are upon us we are once again seeking your assistance in supporting one of Concordia Council on Aging (CCOA) missions through participation in our 2026 Annual Fan Drive.

These fans are a great way to respond to the needs and interest of older Americans, their families and caregivers in our communities or service area. All items and/or proceeds benefit our elderly and disabled adults in our community that are members of the Council. In these times of extreme heat, it is imperative that we do as much as we can to keep our elderly safe, cool and well. We are conducting our Annual
"Beat the Heat" Fan Drive to provide our clients with 20" or larger box fans, standing fans or any fan of your choice. The drive is effective June 1, 2026 and continues through August 31, 2026.

We are accepting fans and or monetary donations at the following sites during these hours of operation, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.: Ferriday Senior Center Lunch Site 111 Texas Avenue Ferriday, LA 71334 (318) 757-8794 Vidalia Senior Center Lunch Site 411 Texas Street Vidalia, LA 71373 (318) 336-7313 Concordia Council on Aging, 1633 Carter Street, Vidalia, LA 71373, Jamie Harrison. (318) 437-5791
We are requesting area businesses, organizations, and individuals to contribute to this endeavor. Thank you for your support of the Council. Our Senior citizens are vital members of our community and appreciate all of your help.
