Qualifying begins Wednesday, August 5th and ends August 7th. Hours are 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. Qualifying fees must be paid by cash, money order or certified cashier's check.

Qualifying period for all candidates (except U.S. Senate) in the November 3 primary election is set for August 5-7. Around 2,800 offices across the state will be on the November 3 ballot. Visit GeauxVote.com to find out how to qualify.

After 34 years of dedicated service, we congratulate Susan Vaughan on her retirement.

Throughout her career, Susan served in the Civil Department and later as Chief Deputy, where her knowledge and commitment to public service contributed greatly to the success of our office.

While we celebrate this well-deserved milestone, we are excited to announce that Susan will continue to be a part of our team in a part-time capacity.

Please join us in thanking Susan for her 34 years of service and congratulating her on this significant milestone.

Today is election day and we would like to give a special thank you to all of our Commissioners and Commissioners-In-Charge, janitors and key custodians. They help make sure everything goes smoothly at all our precincts throughout the parish. Election days are long and we are thankful for all 86 of you that are working today.

We currently have 137 qualified election workers, if you are interested, please stop by our office for more information.
