Bringing stories to life, one sip at a time! 🥤📖

Mrs. Beard’s 4th grade ELAR students took a sweet trip into their current novel, Small Steps: The Year I Got Polio. After reading Chapter 3 ("An Oxygen Tent and a Chocolate Milkshake"), the class enjoyed their own chocolate milkshakes while analyzing the text and connecting with the story.

Learning is always sweeter with an unforgettable book! ✨

Due to ongoing widespread power outages affecting both our district facilities and local homes this evening, our schools will remain CLOSED on Thursday, September 3.

Local utility crews are actively working to bring electricity back to our region.

We look forward to welcoming students back to class on Tuesday, September 8.

* Students may visit the Book Fair after lunch with their grandparent!
