Heads up! This week is short but full of fun!

🏴‍☠️💛 Vidor E showed up and showed out! 💛🏴‍☠️

A few of our StuCo students, Mrs. Whitney, and Ms. Devillier took all those spirit chains to the VHS stadium and decorated the bleachers! Vidor E was the only campus to decorate, and we made sure everyone knew we were there. Our chains stretched across the entire bleachers—and then some! 🎉

A huge thank-you to everyone who purchased a spirit chain and helped make this happen. And a special congratulations to Mrs. Winkles’ 3rd grade class for winning the pizza party! 🍕👏

Way to go, little Pirates! 🖤💛

💛🖤Yesterday we were greeted by the VHS Kickin Brass, Drumline and VHS Twirlers as we entered Vidor E! It was a great way to end our HOCO spirit week! 🖤💛

Thanks to the Band of Bands for sending your teammates over for us! LETS GO PIRATES!

⚓️ HOCO Early Release Pickup Procedures ⚓️

Parents,

If you submitted a HOCO release form, you should have received an orange/gold copy. Please bring that form with you tomorrow.

🚗 For gold-sheet pickup:
• Follow the morning drop-off route and stay along the fence line. Directional signs will guide you.
• Please be in line and have your form ready by 10:00 a.m.
• Pull up to the open gate. A staff member will ask for your student’s name and collect your form.
• Your student will be called from the playground and brought to your car. Then you may head out.

If you don’t have a gold sheet and aren’t on our completed-form list, but need to pick up your child before the 11:25 bell, please park and come inside to sign them out using our usual procedure.

If you’re using regular parent pickup, please stay in the left lane and wait until the 11:25 a.m. bell.

Have questions? Feel free to ask below! We want to make sure pickup runs smoothly for everyone. 🏴‍☠️

The fabulous face behind the phone, the front window, and so many of the wonderful pictures and communications you see from Vidor Elementary💛🖤

Our amazing Whitney has been named Citizen of the Quarter by the Vidor Chamber of Commerce! 🎉

Whitney works tirelessly behind the scenes to make not only Vidor Elementary a better place, but our entire community! She has a heart for people, and we are so lucky to have her on our team!

Help us congratulate Whitney on this well-deserved recognition! We sure are proud to call her OURS! 🏴‍☠️💛🖤
