Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, Vienna, WV

The City of Vienna purchased this side by side for the VPD and VVFD to use in a joint effort. The buggy will be set up with a skid unit for wildland firefighting and patient rescue from rough terrain areas. It will be removable to allow the VPD to use at city events so they can patrol the event. Thank you to the City of Vienna WV for taking care of our needs.

We want to take a moment and thank the City of Vienna for stopping in and picking up this Polaris Ranger XP crew for us here Lemon & Barrett's Powersports.

UPDATE:
All fire units have cleared the scene, but please continue to avoid the area as Vienna Public Works is repairing a main water line.

A special thank you to our automatic mutual aid departments Waverly Volunteer Fire Co.and Williamstown Volunteer Fire Co., as well as Vienna Police Department and WVU Medicine Camden Clark Ambulance Service for their assistance today.

For the month of July the Vienna VFD had a busy month with 61 calls for service. This brings our total for 2026 to 306 calls. These calls range from fires, vehicle accidents, alarm calls, CO/gas leaks, and EMS assists. Thank you to our community for the continued support as well as our mutual aid departments for their assistance on larger calls!

As a reminder please call 9-1-1 when you have an emergency, do not call directly to the fire station as it is not manned 24/7.
