Tomorrow marks a week away from Election Day. I've kept my remarks to myself. Though there will always be a couple that feel they have to stir up trouble. I said this to council last week that whatever the outcome is will be OK with me. I hope that I am elected to serve on Council. I feel that I will have new and fresh ideas for the area. We need jobs here desperately. We need to attract younger families to stay. This area was built on industry and that industry is gone. As your Vienna Councilman, I promise to work with employers to bring jobs here. No more car washes, Mexican restaurants or gambling places. Those aren't jobs for the masses. We need revenue as well as jobs.
Send me your ideas of what you'd like to see and I'll do my best to get it done.

So Starra Jade Raley and I today went to Mountain State Creamery for some ice cream. Filled our Stanley cups for 10 bucks but it was sooooo good. Might just have to go back again tomorrow.
Also, 2 weeks left to vote, so make sure you get out there and vote for me to become your next Vienna City Councilman. I won't let you down. I won't let our tax dollars be wasted on unfinished projects. I certainly won't allow money to be spent without due diligence on researching plans. Remember IN WITH FLINN! 😁

So last night at the candidate meet and greet, myself and Starra Jade Raley both signed up for the Vienna Lions Club. It is a great organization to be a part of.
November 5th is quickly approaching. I'm asking for your votes. Vienna needs change, and I'm willing to help with that change.
I'm a longtime resident of Vienna, grew up on 23rd st. I see things that need to be done.

December 15th 1974, I was born. 3rd son to Charles and Kathleen Flinn of Vienna WV. We lived a simple life, dad was the sole bread earner so gifts were few and far between. We valued what we had and took care of things because we were not to waste money. Fast forward 49 years and those values are still instilled within me. Take care of what we have, don't believe that everything is disposable. Be respectful, be kind, be honest. For someone saying I'm dishonest is like calling my parents liars. I have proof to back up my stories. Am I perfect? No but who on this Earth is.
My campaign is based on honesty, fairness, respect. I refuse to lower myself to try to make me look better. I speak my mind and I refuse to change who I am.
There are other candidates running and I'm friends with all of them. If they win, congrats to them. If I win, I hope that we can remain friends. At most we each live 100 years, make each year count!
Please vote for me for Vienna City Council, I promise I won't let you down.

Come out tomorrow and meet the Candidates for Viennas next mayor, City Recorder and future Councilmen and women. Ask questions, get answers directly from your Candidates rather than from hearsay.
We are working for you Vienna. Get out and interview us for the election coming up. There are a lot of good candidates running, but as for one of America's best cities, we should have only the best fit filling the seats. 6-8pm and the Vienna Community Building by Jackson Middle School.

Brian Flinn for Vienna City Council
In about a month and a half, we as Americans will have a choice. A choice to do what is right. On November 5th, please look for my name for Vienna City Council. I am independent and willing to work with whomever is Mayor and the rest of Council. I don't choose sides and have always found the common ground in life. Those who truly know me, know that if elected I will fight for my hometown community and vote at Council meetings in a way that helps the most of us. We can't always get what we want in life, but as your Councilman, I will always fight for you. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one!

8 months ago, I started a journey that I am passionate about. I threw my name on the ballot for Vienna City Council. Voting is getting closer and I'm getting more anxious. This is just the first stepping stone of my political career in which the goal is the State Legislature, possibly Washington. I've seen first hand the corruption in our local governments and it needs to stop. I have no issue speaking of my past, it is what molded me into the man you see today.
