Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization Our goal is to provide a safe, multimodal, innovative, and resilient transportation system for all.

The SCTPO continually monitors the conditions of Brevard’s transportation system, which includes roads, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, airports, seaports, spaceports, rails, and public transit. We work with our citizens, local governments, transportation agencies, and elected officials, to help shape our future system and address the transportation needs of Brevard County.

🚌 Shape the Future of Local Transit: Join the Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (TDLCB)! 🗺️

Are you passionate about making Brevard County more accessible for everyone? The SCTPO and Space Coast Area Transit are looking for civic-minded individuals to step up and make a difference.

We are currently seeking to fill three primary membership positions and two alternate positions on the TDLCB.

👥 Open Positions Include:
Person 60+ (Representing Elderly of the County) - Member
Citizen Advocate - Member
Citizen Advocate - Alternate
Citizen Advocate Representing User of the System - Member
Citizen Advocate Representing User of the System - Alternate

💡 The TDLCB plays a vital role in ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient transportation is available to all residents regardless of age, ability, or income. Your involvement directly impacts older adults, persons with disabilities, and at-risk community members.

This toolkit isn't just a guide, it’s a hands-on, actionable resource designed to help local partners, engineers, planners, and community advocates roll up their sleeves and dive into real-world safety scenarios. Equipped with data-driven strategies, it gives our partners the exact tools they need to take action locally.
