A day for all those who love to read, National Book Lovers Day encourages you to find your favorite reading place, a good book (whether it be fiction or non-fiction) and read the day away.

Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and join us for a FREE outdoor showing of Zootopia 2 at dusk (approximately 8:00 pm). Bring the whole family for a fun evening under the stars!

If the weather doesn't cooperate, the movie will move indoors to the Villa Park Public Library.

A huge thank you to everyone who has stopped by or donated so far—thanks to you, we've officially passed our $8,850 goal!

Because we hit that milestone, every dollar given for the rest of the day goes directly toward growing our Imagination Library fund so we can enroll even more local kids under 5 and send free books to their homes every month.

Thank you so much to everyone who has chipped in, shared our posts, or stopped by to read today. Because of this community, the Story Stroll at North Terrace Park is happening, and we're bringing Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library right here to our local kids! 📚❤️

We aren't stopping! Every extra dollar raised from here on out goes directly toward enrolled kids in the Imagination Library. It lets us cover higher participation, keep kids in the program longer, and get even more free books mailed out to local families every month.
