Our vision at Villa Park Elementary School is to provide all our students with access to the Core curriculum and teach them the essential standards that are necessary for their successful next step in the educational continuum—that of middle school. In addition to these academic goals, we also envision sending our students forward with a sense of who they are and how their actions determine what others think of them.

🚴‍♂️🔥 What a way to wrap up the school year! 🔥🚴‍♂️

Our Bobcats were treated to an action-packed BMX Freestyle Team assembly filled with incredible stunts, big air, and important life lessons. The riders amazed students with jaw-dropping tricks—including one unforgettable moment when they jumped right over Mrs. Arceo! 😱👏

But this assembly was about much more than BMX. Through their performance, students learned valuable lessons about:

⭐ Character Counts
⭐ Anti-Bullying
⭐ Bike Safety Education
⭐ Healthy Lifestyles
⭐ Saying No to Drugs

The BMX Freestyle Team uses the excitement of freestyle riding to deliver positive messages about respect, responsibility, goal setting, teamwork, and making good choices. Their programs are designed to inspire students both in and out of the classroom.

A huge thank you to the BMX Freestyle Team for bringing such a fun, memorable, and meaningful experience to VPE. Our students were engaged from start to finish and left with smiles on their faces and important lessons to carry with them. 💙💛

🐍😱 SHE DID IT! 😱🐍

After our Bobcats crushed their Fun Run fundraising goal, Mrs. Arceo took on the Blindfolded Principal Challenge!

From insects and worms to snakes, she bravely identified mystery creatures using only her sense of touch. The final challenge? A BOA CONSTRICTOR! 🐍

The screams, laughter, and suspense made this one of the most memorable assemblies of the year! 🎉

Thank you to our VPE families for supporting the Fun Run and helping us reach our goal. Because of your generosity, our students earned a reward they’ll be talking about for a long time!

Way to go, Mrs. Arceo, for being such a great sport! 💙💛
