On Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 2:23 P.M. Vilonia Engine 1, Engine 2, Tower 1, and Tanker 1 were dispatched to assist a neighboring agency with a commercial structure fire in the 100 block of Sunny Gap Road.

Vilonia Fire crews assisted with water supply, interior attack, and vertical ventilation. The fire was brought under control swiftly and with no further extension. There were no injuries to fire personnel or occupants.

We appreciate the opportunity to serve not only our community but as well the Liberty Fire Department and their community. Shout out to Liberty Fire, Hwy 286 East Fire, Beaverfork Fire, Saltillo Fire, Hilltop Fire, and Pafford EMS for the good work!

The Vilonia Fire Department will host a community CPR class on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 6 p.m. The certification cards will be available for $6 per person. Must be at least 10 years old to register. Class is limited to the first 15 people.

Our open house will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10AM to 2PM. There will be bouncy houses, food, raffle, and silent auction. This is a fundraiser for Fire Safety and Fire Equipment. Hope to see you there!
