We are so proud to announce that the #1 issue identified as the highest priority need by the Vincennes public will be addressed by the end of this year. City-wide Public Transportation will contribute to the improvement of our economy, health, and the overall quality of life in our community. Thanks to an investment of $1M from the City of Vincennes' American Rescue Plan Act funding and the dedication of the Mayor's Office, YMCA/Van-Go, transportation consultants working with INDOT and the Office of Community & Rural Affairs, a trolley will be back on the road soon in Vincennes offering FREE rides on a fixed route. Stay tuned for additional information coming soon.

COMING SOON ............
The first Vincennes Trolley is almost complete!
Stay tuned for more info about the launch date of the new Vincennes bus route.

Improvement of Vincennes Parks was a part of the City of Vincennes Strategic Investment Plan. Thanks to collaboration with the Knox County Community Foundation and Knox County Indiana Economic Development, we were able to secure a grant to create a comprehensive 5-year Master Parks Plan, which will inform decision-making and make our parks eligible for additional funding in upcoming years.
This is where we need YOUR help! Please take a few minutes to let us know what YOU would like to see in our local parks to make our city a better place to live, work and play.

Thank you to Helping His Hands for your donation of tables & chairs and appliances to be used in the new Vincennes Teen Center at Old Town Players.
This partnership is just beginning as the Food Pantry has committed to assisting with local teen food insecurity at the center and working alongside Knox County Community Learning Kitchen to provide a weekly hot dinner for community teens.
