Last week, six WIN Energy REMC employees participated in the third quarter WIN for the Community project. This time, employees volunteered their time at Pace Community Action Agency in Vincennes by playing with the kids and putting together new toys for their Early Head Start and Head Start programs. 👧👦👶

Since the inception of the WIN for the Community program in September 2025, our team has donated over 100 hours of volunteer time to local non-profit organizations.

Buzz is back, reminding you to stay safe this weekend, and all year.

Here are his top five electrical safety tips:
⚡ Stay away from downed power lines — always assume they’re energized.
🪜 Look up before you work — keep ladders, equipment, and yourself away from overhead lines.
🕳️ Call 811 before you dig.
🔌 Never use damaged cords or overloaded outlets.
🚗 If a power line falls on your vehicle, stay inside and call for help.

Congratulations to all our competitors at Indiana Electric Cooperative Lineman Rodeo! Six WIN Energy REMC linemen competed in events that test skills such as pole climbing, hurt man rescue, and safely changing electric line hardware. They put their skills to the test and made WIN Energy REMC proud. Event participants included:
