Knox County CASA Program advocates for those children.
The Knox County CASA program trains community volunteers to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court, helping to ensure children’s needs are met while they are involved in the legal system with the goal that children will have a safe and permanent home as quickly as possible. Further, CASA’s strive to mitigate secondary system trauma associated with out of home placements.
