Someone asked me what it feels like being elected Sheriff. The only words I could come up with is that I am truly humbled by the entire experience. I want to thank my campaign team for the hard work and many hours each and every one of them dedicated to the cause. It was a hard fought primary for our team and my opponents team. Most of all, I want to thank the Citizens of Washington County for placing their trust in me. I am excited to get started and to serve as your Sheriff. We will hit the ground running on January 6th when I get sworn in. Again, thank you.

As the the Ohio Revised Code mandatory recount has taken place and there was no change, we can now move forward with our plans. I want to thank the Board of Elections for their hard work throughout this process. Like I have told many of my friends today, now the work begins. I will be sworn in as your Sheriff in January 2025. We have the next 8 months to get things ready and hit the ground running when swearing in takes place. My vision for your Sheriff’s Office will take each and every one of us. I am excited, and I was truly blessed by a team that supported me through this. I want to thank all of the citizens of this great county who believed in me. We will not let you down.

I want to thank the Citizens of Washington County for believing in me. I also want to thank all those who have supported my team and I, as there have been so many throughout this campaign. Without all of you, this could not have happened.
