We have ended our fundraiser early tonight.
THANK YOU to the Fort Museum Opera house for allowing us to host our event!

We will have a silent auction, free will donation meal, 50/50 raffle and music!

Hey friends!
Lotus is having another fundraiser on September 19th at the Opera House!
It is a semi-formal/ business casual event so nothing too fancy or uncomfortable! Think jumpsuits, dresses, slacks, blazers, nice denim, button ups, boots etc
We will provide a meal of smoked pork, cheesy potatoes and desert.
There will be a silent auction and all proceeds from the event will go to funding shelter operations to ensure we remain a viable option for the communities we serve. (We are still accepting donations for this so let me know when and where I can pick up your donation)

In early 2026 Ali came to Lotus. While she was with us, she completed her HiSet diploma, applied for/got a job and started working. She also began thinking about what her future was going to look like and how she could make it happen.
Working alongside myself and the Lotus case manager, she was able to research some different options and ultimately decided that Job Corps would be a good fit because they offer safe and secure housing while providing education to help her create a solid foundation for her future.

On Friday, I was invited to see to her graduate from Job Corps with her CNA certification!! She has no plans of stopping anytime soon as she is continuing to her LPN certification before she begins pursuing a degree in Nursing.
Through all of the adversities she has faced so far in life, she has kept that beautiful smile on her face and keeps making plans to conquer the challenges that come her way!
Keep it up Ali!!
