Dr. Ariel Lajara stopped by Wallace Middle School today to welcome Sodexo food service team members as they gathered for their opening meeting ahead of the new school year.

Dr. Lajara thanked the team for the important work they do each day to serve students across Vineland Public Schools and wished them a great start to the year.

We appreciate our food service partners and all they do to support our students and school communities. Welcome back!

Beginning in September 2026, Vineland Public Schools students in grades PreK–12 will be permitted to wear jeans as part of the district’s updated dress code. All other dress code requirements will remain in effect. The Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey are hosting two upcoming events in Vineland!

September 17 | Doorway to Wonder
5:30–6:30 PM | Vineland Public Library
A free creative Girl Scout experience where girls will design their own tiny fairy door, discover what makes them unique, and get their first glimpse into Girl Scouts.

October 2 | Into the Wonder
5:00–7:00 PM | Landis Park
A larger free community event featuring live bunnies, a mobile art studio, fairy hair, a woodland scavenger hunt, collaborative art, refreshments, and more, all designed to introduce local K–5 families to Girl Scouts in a fun and memorable way.
