Wallace State Community College is offering Summer Skills Camps for high school students and recent graduates. These camps are designed to help students explore careers, build real-world skills, and gain hands-on experience.
BUILT DIFFERENT: Skilled Trades Exploration Camp
For rising 9th–12th graders
Tentative Dates: July 22–24, Wednesday–Friday
Students will explore high-demand skilled trades through hands-on activities, including:
Construction, Diesel Tech, HVAC, Mechatronics, and Welding.
Real World Ready: Life Skills Summer Series
For rising 9th–12th graders and recent graduates
Tentative Dates: Tuesdays: June 23, June 30, July 7, and July 14
Students will learn practical life skills, including:
Budgeting and money management, career readiness, professional communication, and adult responsibilities.
