Last night we had to look for a missing party with dementia, who had been missing for an hour. Within minutes of our call for a search party, Tisbury Fire Chief Rolston had himself and 7 or so volunteer firefighters at the Fire Station ready to go! Our Sgt Silvia had his drone set up and ready to go with FAA clearance. Just prior to deploying these resources, the individual was located safe by our Sgt St Pierre. Although they never left the station, those volunteers left their homes and their families at a minutes notice to help this community and one of its members. Thank you Tisbury Fire Department and Aquinnah Police Department Chief Randhi Belain for stepping up when called upon!

The Tisbury Police is attempting to identify the individual who is seen in the attached videos. The subject is suspected of breaking into a local Vineyard Haven business and stealing over $10,000.00 worth of merchandise.

Disabled Trash Truck on Main by old Bowl & Board, expect delays. Use Water St to Union St to get around and back onto Main St. Thank you!
