Vineyard Days has come to an end, and we stayed busy grilling up 1,500 hot dogs for the Block Party! 🌭
During the parade, we tossed out ping pong balls, and some lucky ones were marked “Winner!” If you caught a winning ball, stop by the Sheriff’s Office and bring it with you to claim your prize.
A huge thank you to our amazing community for stopping by to visit, chat, share laughs, and celebrate with us throughout the festivities. We love the opportunity to connect with all of you and are grateful for the support and friendships that make our community so special. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year! 🚓❤️🎉

Scam Alert!

Sextortion scams are increasing. Criminals use AI-generated fake images or videos to create explicit content and then threaten to share it unless the victim pays money.

These scams can cause financial loss and damage reputations by exploiting fear and embarrassment.

If you are targeted, do NOT pay. Payment rarely ends the threats, and there is no guarantee the content will be deleted. Stop all contact and report the incident to local law enforcement immediately.

Tips to stay safe:
-Keep social media accounts and personal information private.
-Change passwords regularly and avoid reusing them.
-Review your online presence and remove unnecessary public information.
-Never send explicit photos to strangers.
-Use privacy settings on apps and websites.
-Monitor children’s online activity and discuss online safety.
-Contact law enforcement if you believe you are a victim.

As we head into the holiday weekend. Please, take a moment to honor our brave men and women of uniform who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

The debt that has been paid for our Nation’s ability to be free was paid for by our Nation’s fallen and may their sacrifice never be forgotten.

Place some flowers on a grave, BBQ something tasty on a grill, have family gatherings, maybe even go on a trip. Just remember, our freedom is not free and honor the fallen.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to A Day with Deputies! We had such a great time meeting, visiting, and making memories with all of you. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and connections throughout the day made this event so special.

We are incredibly grateful to the Autism Council of Utah, Utah City, Bellas, Costco, Taco Amigo, Swig, Vineyard Cares, United Way, Spectrum Academy, Fini’s Pizza, and Vineyard Youth Council for your generous donations, support, booths, pizza, and so much more. We also want to give a very special thank you to our VIPs for helping with parking and traffic throughout the event. Your kindness, time, and support helped make this day possible.

Our Deputies had an amazing time interacting with the kids, taking pictures, and being part of such a meaningful event.

We are already looking forward to making next year even bigger and better!

May 15 is National Peace Officers Memorial Day, and the week in which it falls is recognized as National Police Week.

The Utah County Sheriff's Office is proud of our Deputies and staff. We greatly appreciate their hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving our county and the communities within it. We also extend that same appreciation to all of our law enforcement partners throughout the state and across the country.

To our entire law enforcement family: thank you for your dedication and hard work. And to our communities: thank you for your continued support.
