Mayor Rachel Quintana and staff had the honor of attending Canutillo ISD Topping Off Ceremony this morning for the new Davenport Elementary School!

Local leaders and community partners came together to celebrate this exciting milestone and even had the opportunity to sign the final beam before it was placed into the new school.

As a proud partner of Canutillo ISD, we’re excited to celebrate this achievement and the continued investment in education that benefits the children and families of the communities we serve. Congratulations to Canutillo ISD on this exciting step forward. 💙🏫

We’ve received a report of graffiti at the playground at Dr. Applegate Park. The graffiti was reported yesterday, and our Public Works crew had it cleaned up first thing this morning. We’re happy to share that the area has been taken care of, and we appreciate their quick response and continued work to keep our community spaces looking their best.

A friendly reminder to please respect our parks and the spaces our community shares. Cleaning up graffiti takes time, effort, and valuable resources that could otherwise be used to maintain and improve our parks.

If you see someone actively tagging or vandalizing property, please contact the Sheriff’s Department so it can be addressed appropriately.

Thank you for helping us keep Dr. Applegate Park clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
