Important Community Update:
🚨The Future of Richland County EMS🚑
Richland County administration is currently evaluating the possibility of transitioning the county EMS services to outside providers. This potential shift would mean replacing the dedicated Richland County EMS team that has served our community for decades.
Our local EMS professionals are more than just first responders—they are our neighbors, friends, some are even our family members, and the people who know our roads and our residents best. Replacing them with an outside service could significantly impact response times, the quality of personalized care, and the deep-rooted community knowledge that only a local team possesses. Additionally, replacing our current county agency with a private EMS agency - could potentially mean higher service fees and transport charges to all patients.
Please attend your local, municipality, and county board meetings to make your voice heard and matter!
