Virden Car Show The Annual Fred Britenstine Car Show was started as a way to pay tribute to the legacy of the late Fred Britenstine in local hot-rodding community.

Join us the Saturday before Father's Day on the square in Virden, right along historic Route 66 for great food, family-friendly fun and a terrific display of cars, trucks and motorcycles. Fred Britenstine was a motor-head and hot-rod enthusiast who was well-known in the hot-rodding community for his numerous cars and trucks. He possessed a vast knowledge of anythin

g with motors and wheels. Fred was a mentor and friend to everyone who had the privilege of meeting him and would not hesitate to do anything for anyone. Fred was a loving and devoted family man who is survived by his wife carol, a son Scott, and two graanddaughters, Chelsa and Kellee.

Mark your calendars for September 27 on the square in Virden!!! We’re having our Annual Hank & Blank Cruise in from 3-7 PM! Make the trip to Virden in the morning for Neighbors Black Powder Indian Summer Festival and stick around for our Cruise-In!
