Thanks to all the members of midway that responded, I know it’s tough at that time of day, thanks again, Thank you to the South Boston Fire Department for providing personnel and equipment, to Halifax County Rescue Squad for their professional medical care, to Franklins for being on standby with equipment, to Virgilina Fire Department for providing personnel, and to the Halifax County Sheriff's Department for assisting with personnel. Thank you to the dispatchers for taking care of the behind the scenes work. It's noteworthy that many people may not realize the frequency with which our county comes together in times of need. One team, One Goal.”

Our community is full of highly dedicated individuals that set aside personal time to provide safety response to those in need. We are extremely thankful for all of those who assisted Midway today!

What is your calling? More people have a calling to help others in need that you can imagine! One of the best ways you can do this within your community is by joining a local fire department. If you live within a reasonable distance and want to volunteer your time to serve your community Midway Volunteer Fire Department would love for you to join our team!
