It is the mission of the Davis Corner Volunteer Rescue Squad to provide the finest basic and advanced level Emergency Medical Service care to citizens and guests in our primary are of responsibility (Haygood, Lake Smith, Aragona, Pembroke/Town Center, Wesleyan, Lake Edward) and respond to assist any sister rescue squad withing the boundaries of the city and to provide mutual aid to any city in the
region upon request. At DAVIS CORNER VOLUNTEER RESCUE SQUAD, our duty crews have the finest in LIFE SAVING equipment and the very latest in TRAINING due to our COMMUNITY PARTNERS! As a PARTNER in our EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE SYSTEM, you help us stand ready to provide FREE CARE, to every citizen and guest of the city of VIRGINIA BEACH, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 DAYS A YEAR! With our members time and your support and our pooled resources, we are a true community partnership in the largest all volunteer Emergency Medical Service System in the nation. Your assistance can help in two critical areas. First, help with a monetary donation of your hard-earned resources and two, come and join our organization and be the first responder to calls for help from your neighbors. We provide free training in CPR and Emergency Medical Technician training through the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. In time, you could be eligible to proceed on to Advanced Life Support training as a Paramedic, all at no cost to you other than your time giving back to our neighbors.
