This year marks the 84th anniversary of the Battle of Midway. Lasting from June 4-7, 1942, the U.S. Navy achieved a victory that changed the direction of the war on the pacific and remains a pivotal moment in our naval history today.

This week, we honor those who served and remember their legacies of valor, commitment, and sacrifice. As we continue in our mission to support and develop a more capable force, may we never forget the examples set throughout our history.

This day serves as a reminder of the principles of democracy, freedom, and public service that are the bedrock of our country. It's an opportunity to appreciate the leaders who have guided our nation through times of challenge and prosperity.
