Spring showed up like it owns the place and so did the pollen.

If your car is now yellow and your sinuses are fighting for their life, you’re not alone. Quick reminder: allergy meds help, but more is not better. Stick to the recommended dosage because “I’ll just take a few extra” is how you end up calling us instead of enjoying the weather.

Stay ahead of it, stay hydrated, and maybe don’t trust that “just one more” pill logic.

Ice happens. Falls don’t have to.

If there’s ice outside, take it slow and step carefully to reduce your risk of a fall. Share as a reminder for friends and family.

Power’s back on, but your fridge might still be holding a grudge 😅 After an outage, when in doubt—throw it out, especially meat, dairy, and leftovers. A clean fridge is cheaper than food poisoning 😉

☃️ The colder it is, the more likely you are to forget to drink. If cold water feels too cold, try warm water with lemon or herbal tea to make staying hydrated more comfortable! ☃️

Don’t let the snowpeople outside be the only ones filled with water 🤭

We are seeing an increase in visits to emergency departments statewide for hypothermia/cold exposure. Due to the extreme cold temperatures and wind chill hypothermia and frostbite are real concerns.

- Focus on staying warm and dry.

- Stay indoors. If you must go outside, Limit your time outside. Dress appropriately. Be sure to cover your head, fingers and toes. Change out of wet clothes immediately.

- Stay Hydrated
