WHO WE ARE

We are the Town Center Kiwanis Club of Virginia Beach, an eclectic mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds, and interests. We c

elebrate service-minded members from all walks of life and are passionate about serving the children of our local community through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives to create a better place for children, so that they can thrive. We meet at Bravo Italian Kitchen, in Town Center, for lunch on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month. OUR HISTORY

Kiwanis is a global organization with more than 550,000 members in 80 countries. Town Center Kiwanis Club is 1 of 11 local Kiwanis clubs within Division-14 of the Capital District. The Capital District consists of 20 Divisions across Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Town Center Kiwanis was originally established on 08/30/1973, as the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke. In 2005, after 50 years of existence, the Suburban Kiwanis Club folded into the Pembroke Club. As part of this merger, it was decided to change the name to Town Center Kiwanis Club. The addition of core members from the Suburban club helped expand our “hands-on” activities into several charities and greatly added to our continued growth and success. WHAT WE ARE DOING THESE DAYS

We make Service and Fundraising…FUN! Our focus is community service, fundraising, and supporting activities throughout Hampton Roads. All our activities are directed towards “child-focused” charities that include valuable partnerships with Special Olympics, Seton House, For Kids, Achievable Dream, and many others. Each month, we focus on a themed, hands-on service project that covers mental health, hunger, homelessness, literacy, child leadership, and so on. Additionally, we have two main fundraisers: Neptune Fest and our Annual Charity Golf Tournament. WHERE WE’RE GOING

Today, you will find us planning and promoting events based on our experience, input from members, and trends that are working. Through guidance and example, the Town Center Kiwanis Club works to develop future generations of leaders. Every day, we are revitalizing neighborhoods, supporting youth programs, awarding scholarships, and performing countless other projects to help children and their communities. JOIN US

If you are looking for a way to give back to the community and enjoy the company of like-minded individuals, come visit us on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 12:00 at Bravo Italian Kitchen in Town Center.

🌟 Big impact starts with small hands and local hearts!

Every day Town Center Kiwanis is on the ground doing what we do best: improving the world one child and one community at a time.

From mentoring students, to funding pediatric research and supporting local youth leadership, we believe that when you give a child the chance to learn, grow, and thrive, amazing things happen.

Whether you are looking to make a tangible difference right here in our neighborhood, develop your own leadership skills, or form lifelong friendships with passionate people, there is a place for you at our table.

🌟 Behind every success story is a caring adult.

Today is !

Town Center Kiwanis believes that mentoring is one of the most powerful ways to serve the children of the world. By guiding Key Clubbers, mentoring K-Kids, or supporting youth in our community, we help build tomorrow's leaders.

💡 Did you know? "Every kid is ONE caring adult away from being a success story." — Josh Shipp

Town Center Kiwanis supported Siddhant Samtani with his Eagle Scout Project. He planned, organized, and supervised the destruction and removal of some very old wooden picnic tables, and replaced them with these new black metal tables at the Virginia Techinal Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Virginia Beach. This little serene oasis will be great for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding beauty. Way to go, Siddhant!!
