The 1 for 1 match is a common misconception in the Army community. See below for clarification from HRC

that the AIM-2 Marketplace is only the second step in the officer assignment process and that there is no such thing as 1-for-1 match? Instead the Army Talent Alignment Algorithm creates a Market Match between officers and units based on individual and unit preferences.

career managers play an important role in this tool. They are now Clearing the Market which means reviewing and adjusting the results of the marketplace algorithm based on many factors including:
- Officer requests (retirement, resignation, stabilization, etc.)
- Family programs (Exceptional Family Member Program, etc.)
- Army Manning Guidance and unit requirements
- Promotion results and broadening opportunities

Based on past market results, most officers will receive a Top-5 assignment choice and should expect a request for orders (RFO) to hit their AIM-2 inbox early next year.

Today Chaplin Ramey taught Headhunter Soldiers classes on resilience and communication. This is part of the 11th Transportation Battalion's Headspace and timing series. Service Members, Family, and friends of HHD,

In these trying times, the lack of coping options and tight quarters can contribute greatly to stress, with few real means to unwind and relax. COVID affects us all as we take strict means in order to lock down the virus, maintain the force, and do our best to ensure the health of all Americans standing with us.

Take a moment to review the attached. Practicing mindfulness can be an effective way of reducing stress, enhancing your mental faculties, and drawing closer to your loved one through increased empathy and understanding.

Be safe, and continue to have an excellent week!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
From all of us at HHD, we hope you take a moment between family time and enjoying the fruits of living in our great nation today to think about the sacrifices of our progenitors made to give us the freedoms, privileges, and opportunities we all have each day.

Also, please remember during this holiday weekend that all Soldiers in our unit are currently under restrictions as to the places we can go and the activities in which we can partake. As seen in the attached memorandum, the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) has had to take stronger steps to ensure the health and safety of our personnel. Please wear your masks, stay to the areas you are supposed to stay, social distance and avoid the prohibited activities. We also ask that Family Members support their Service Members by embracing these same policies. The more we all stick to these tactics now, the faster the pandemic will end.

Thank you, and have a lovely holiday weekend!!!

On this day, 76 years ago, nearly 350,000 Allied Service Members' and Resistance Fighters' combined efforts resulted in an invasion landing across five beachheads in Normandy. This operation would give the Allies the foothold needed in order to retake Europe and eventually yield the surrender of enemy forces and lead to the end of the largest war the world had ever seen. Take a moment today to remember the sacrifices of our progenitors made to ensure the freedom and well-being of billions of people around the world. To these brave women and men, we thank you.
