Ms. Hogan wants to get some water color supplies for her art classes. There are two ways you can help, one does not cost you anything but the time to vote. You can vote every day. The goal is 1200 votes. New accounts on the site get 4 votes. Can me move like light speed and get her to 1200 votes. I think we can. Share out the link on all your social media platforms please. If she gets enough votes Sonic will fund the project. You can also donate if you wish. https://bit.ly/WatercolorExploration

Only limited numbers could be allowed in the building so we set up out front with tables for free book bags and school supplies as well as free books free veggies and good music. Here is a peak at our staff. It was AWESOME to see all the kids and families again.

I am extremely disappointed on how Newtown Elementary and Transportation handled a situation on 1/3/18. My son got off the bus without his winter hat and told me a student on the bus took it off his head after he told him to stop and threw it in the bus. I called the school immediately after he got home and reported this. They told me there was NOTHING they could do and i would have to call transportation which i did immediately as well and reported it there. Transportation said they would call the bus driver and leave a message about my situation and hopefully have my sons hat back after her run. 2 weeks went by without anyyyyy phone calls. I finally called yesterday again (the school) and basically they acted like this was my first time mentioning this situation and would investigate it today. My son came down and made a statement about what happened and I got a call today about the hat. I was told I’m sorry but we don’t know where the hat is. It wasn’t on the bus. Of course it’s not NOW after 2 weeks. That’s why i called when it first happened so it could be returned. I don’t feel like this was taken seriously when another student bullied my son and took his hat off his head and threw it! I want answers.
