I’m so looking forward to the start of another year of fellowship as Bible Study starts back tonight!
I pray that through our connection with one another for followship, encouragement, and training in service, we, in turn, can support and encourage our husbands through the challenges of law school.
I so look forward to gaining a greater understanding of scripture and the character of God with all of you this semester! Even if you aren’t able to come every Monday, join us whenever you can! 💕

Ladies, what a year 2020 was! Despite the obvious challenges the year brought, I am so thankful for each and every one of you and to be able to reflect on the many memories we were still able to make together!
I can’t wait for the continued relationships we will build and all that 2021 has in store for us!! I look forward to another year of continued support and doing life with one another.

Just a quick shout out for our Bible Studies this semester! They are geared that you can jump in at any time and missing a week because of crazy work schedule/kids/whatever won't hurt your ability to learn and participate.
**Tuesday Evenings: We're going through some of the works of C. S. Lewis! We have a great video series we're watching with no prior reading required.
**Thursday Mornings: We're going through the lives of Ruth and Ester, discussing their examples of Biblical womanhood. It's a kid-friendly environment, but not limited to moms.
If you'd like to hop in and join a Bible Study for the rest of the semester, just shoot us a PM and we'll get you more details about time and place 😇

Wives, remember to pray for your husbands today and every day. So much of our job while they are in law school is to be a source of rest and comfort. Instead of making today about catching up on housework (something I would be inclined to do), try taking the time to do something special to connect with your spouse and with God.
What a great way to start the year! Tag yourself and your friends :)
Back to the grind. We'll be praying for all returning students and especially for the 1Ls & their wives as this adventure takes off!

Mark your calendars for Aug 25th! That morning Regent is holding their annual law community service day and in the evening Law Wives is hosting a welcome BBQ for incoming and returning families alike! This is a great (and tasty!) way to meet some new faces. More detail to follow and we hope to see you there 🙂
Welcome to all the incoming students and wives! We're very excited to meet you and pray that God does great things during your time at Regent.
Ladies, Law Wives is a community formed especially for you. Law school is a time intensive undertaking and, no matter how proud you are of him, moving to a new city and having your husband gone most of the week is a real sacrifice. That's where we come in! We host Bible studies and fun events every semester and are always available for a helping hand or listening ear. Personally, I was really nervous to come to law school, leaving all of my friends and family behind. Having a group of ladies to hang out with that understood that transition was a huge blessing.
So if you and your husband are coming to Regent, "like" our page and hit the "join group" button at the top of the page. (Our closed group is a place where we can arrange meet ups, share prayer requests, etc without the whole world watching) If you have any questions, please message us!
Keep an eye out for an announcement about our welcome events later this month! We can't wait to meet you :)
