Today we wrapped up our USO Experience event on Virginia Beach. HR CPOA alongside Tidewater CCTI brought today to a close with the drawing of our 50/50 winner!

The winning ticket was awarded to John Donahue of Delaware, John made the honorable decision to donate all of his winning back to CPOA! Thank you John! We'll see you next year!

First off, a huge shout out to the Hampton Roads Chiefs who showed up and showed out! Putting on this event is not possible without the power of the mess coming together. Today HR CPOA hosted the annual Chiefsgiving on board Base Portsmouth. What a huge success. The food was incredible and it was an amazing opportunity for our crews to come together as one big Coast Guard Family to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. Thank you Chiefs for being that Anchor for your crews. BZ. And a shout out to our CPOA Officers for the long hours making sure the event was able to go on bigger and better every year! Final count was 300 in the door. We're excited to host again next year!

As Secretary of Homeland Security Noem announced today, Coast Guard military personnel will receive their mid-month paycheck for October 15. Pay will be processed and deposited in your designated accounts between October 15-17.
We recognize how stressful this period of uncertainty during the lapse is for you and your families. Thank you for your unwavering dedication, professionalism, and continued focus on the mission.
We thank Secretary Noem for her support and advocacy to ensure our military service members receive the pay they've earned.
We continue to advocate for a full appropriation for the entire Coast Guard.
Thank you for your resilience and devotion to serving the American people.
