🚨 CALLING ALL FUTURE FIREFIGHTERS! 🚨

The Viroqua Fire Department Open House isn’t just for adults.

We’re planning fun activities for kids that will give them a chance to interact with firefighters, learn about fire safety, see the trucks and equipment up close, and have some fun while doing it.

Our Open House will help wrap up Fire Prevention Week, October 4–10. Fire Prevention Week is a great reminder that some of the most important lessons we can teach our kids are what to do before an emergency ever happens.

We want children to know that firefighters are their friends and that when they see us during an emergency, we are there to help.

Have you driven by the new Viroqua Fire Department and wondered what it looks like inside?

On Saturday, October 10th, you’ll get your chance!

We’re opening the doors from 10 AM–1 PM and inviting the community to come see the station that helps us serve Viroqua and the surrounding area.

Walk through the building, see where our firefighters train and prepare, check out the apparatus, and learn a little more about what happens behind those doors when the pager goes off.

This station belongs to the community we serve, and we’re excited to welcome you inside.
