PARENTING IN THE DIGITAL AGE - PRESENTATION TUESDAY!
Raising children in the digital age can be overwhelming and even scary. How do we protect our children from inappropriate content? How do respond to the influences of social media? WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 8 @ 5:30 PM
WHERE: Rm20
WHY: To keep your child safe, happy, and healthy in the digital age!

COLLABORATIVE PLAY
In life, good things come when we make good decisions! This month we rewarded our students' great behavior with some new and collaborative games at recess. There were giant board games, this parachute, and more!

LEARNING THROUGH PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PBL)
As part of their PBL on creating a fire safety plan, Gr 1/2 students asked questions of VUSD's Coordinator of School Safety & Security this week. In this PBL, students learn not only about fire safety, but also important Math and ELA concepts.

EXPANDING YOUR HORIZONS
Girls in grades 5-8 attended TCOE's Expanding Your Horizons girls' conference at the College of the Sequoias (COS). This conference exposes students to fields in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and women who have chosen careers in these fields.
