** Dinuba, CA **
Due to high numbers of mosquitoes and the DETECTION of West Nile virus in mosquito samples, Delta Mosquito & Vector Control District will conduct adult mosquito treatments using truck-mounted ultra-low volume (ULV) equipment.
No precautions are needed for this treatment.
Treatments will occur tonight in all of Dinuba between the hours of
9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday night, August 4th.
We treat areas with high mosquito counts and West Nile virus, focusing on spots where it could spread. Not all areas are treated nightly.
Daytime bites? Likely Aedes aegypti—an invasive, aggressive biting mosquito that prefers humans at all times of the day, but doesn’t spread West Nile and isn’t targeted by night sprays.
