Delta Mosquito and Vector Control District

Delta Mosquito and Vector Control District Delta Mosquito & Vector Control District was established in 1922 to protect public health.

We are responsible for controlling mosquito populations, mosquito-borne disease surveillance, and providing public education in northern Tulare County, California. Delta Mosquito and Vector Control District is a Tulare County special district charged to protect the public health of our community. Our team performs mosquito control and mosquito-borne disease surveillance. The lab staff monitor mosq

uito populations by setting traps to monitor mosquito abundance and mosquito-borne virus activity. Our vector control technicians regularly inspect water sources such as catch basins, dairy ponds, and swimming pools for mosquito breeding. We target mosquitoes at their source utilizing a variety of biological and chemical control methods to prevent increases in mosquito populations and local disease transmission. We also strive to educate the public about mosquitoes and mosquito-borne disease as your participation is a critical component of effective and lasting mosquito control. We provide our services free of charge in order to promote public health. No representative of Delta Mosquito and Vector Control will ever ask you to pay for services. If you are looking for more information regarding Delta Mosquito and Vector Control District, have any questions or would like to report abnormal mosquito activity, please feel free to contact our office at 559-732-8606 or visit our website at https://deltamvcd.org/.
