Good Morning Tulare County!

The Tulare County Health & Human Services along with the Women/Infants/Children "WIC" Program held their first annual "Breastfeeding Awareness Walk" on Friday August 14, 2026.

Everyone enjoyed themselves with the semi "Cool Down" in temperatures, but kept hydrated to keep that pace!

Hello Tulare County!

The Woodville Park Sunshade Project is supported by the Extreme Heat and Community Resilience Program implemented by the Governor's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation. Thanks to this Grant, the County of Tulare was able to install sunshades over playgrounds at Ledbetter, Alpaugh, and Woodville Parks.

Harmful effects from the sun causes heat stroke and other heat related illnesses annually. It is our hope that these sunshades add another level of protection from the harmful effects of the heat.

Please remember to drink plenty of water and use an appropriate SPF sunscreen when visiting the Parks.

We hope that the residents of the City of Woodville enjoy these new additions!
