It is official! Ryan Fazio for Governor is coming to Plainfield! We have a great lineup of candidates coming to chat with constituents and hear directly from them. They all recently joined us at the VJ Day Parade at the beginning of August and they are coming back to the quiet corner because we matter too!

The Plainfield RTC is inviting all Voluntown RTC members and supporters of the Republican state and federal candidates to march in the Moosup VJ Day parade this Sunday, August 9.

The Republican Party float will be staged on N Main Street between Brusnwick Ave and Riverview Restaurant.

Step off is ay 1:01 PM and the RTC plans to get a group photo in front of the float at 12:40 PM. Roads will be closed for the parade, so get there as early as possible. Email Jennie, the Plainfield RTC chairwoman, at [email protected] with any questionsl

There will be a meet and greet directly following the parade that all are welcome to attend.

You have heard me talk about the great news for the 18th District: the budget I proudly supported as Ranking Member of the Appropriations Committee will bring nearly $9 million back to our communities!

These investments will strengthen our towns, support local priorities, and deliver real results for residents across the district. This funding includes education aid and disbursements from the Mohegan Pequot Fund that help support municipal services and ease pressure on local property taxes over time.
