You have heard me talk about the great news for the 18th District: the budget I proudly supported as Ranking Member of the Appropriations Committee will bring nearly $9 million back to our communities!

These investments will strengthen our towns, support local priorities, and deliver real results for residents across the district. This funding includes education aid and disbursements from the Mohegan Pequot Fund that help support municipal services and ease pressure on local property taxes over time.

George Austin is the endorsed Republican candidate for the District 2 Congressional seat. He will be our guest at the Voluntown RTC meeting that is being held this Wednesday directly following the 7pm Registrar Caucus in the Voluntown Town Hall Meeting Room. This RTC meeting is open to any registered Republican. We will work with George to plan a meet and great before the election that is open to all voters!
