As part of the Voorhees Township Road Program, Think Pavers is scheduled to do road improvement work on the entirety of both Blue Ridge Road and Green Ridge Road, along with Pelham Road, from the intersection of Surrey Road to Saddle Ridge Road. This project is anticipated to begin on or about September 1st. Work is expected to be completed within one month.

We kindly request that all vehicles be removed from the roadway and adjacent parking areas between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM during the workday to facilitate safe and efficient completion of the project. Tuesday, September 1, 2026:
White Horse Rd – 7:00am to 3:00pm. Buckley Cable Construction, on behalf of Comcast, will be doing aerial utility work. There will be a right lane closure between Linden Ave and Lucas Lane.

The 9:00 PM Routine is a safety initiative developed by law enforcement agencies to minimize vehicle and home thefts. This
initiative includes a simple nightly checklist to be completed around 9:00 PM or before bedtime:

- Remove all valuables, money, keys, and key fobs from vehicles

- Turn on exterior lights

- Activate security systems and alarms

- Lock all residential and vehicle doors

- Close all residential and vehicular windows

By adding this habit, neighborhoods can enhance safety, making them less appealing targets for potential criminals. Your

As part of the Voorhees Township Road Program, Think Pavers is scheduled to begin milling and paving operations for Centennial Boulevard from Old Egg Harbor Road to Cooper Road, Monday night, August 31st through Thursday night, September 3rd. Work hours will be 8:00pm to 6:00am.

During construction, Centennial Boulevard will be fully closed with detours set up from each project limit. Traffic heading northbound on Clementon Road (Centennial) will be detoured east on Route 561, then north on Kresson-Gibbsboro Road, then west on Cooper Road, back to Centennial Boulevard. Southbound traffic on Centennial will be detoured eastbound onto Cooper Road, southbound on Kresson-Gibbsboro Road, and westbound on Route 561 back to Clementon Road (Centennial). Local traffic and emergency vehicles will be permitted.

Be Alert, Be Patient, Be Responsible!
As Voorhees schools start to open for the class of 2027, we remind motorists to obey speed limits, watch for crossing guards, and stop for school buses.

Just like traffic lights, the yellow lights on a school bus indicate that drivers should slow down and prepare to stop, rather than speed up. Red flashing lights and an extended stop-arm signal indicate that the bus has stopped and that children are getting on or off. Drivers MUST stop a safe distance away and not start again until the red lights stop flashing, the stop sign has been folded back, and the bus begins to move away.

Voorhees Police Officers will be increasing their presence around our schools and bus stops when schools start. Together, we can create a safe environment for everyone!

There will be ZERO TOLERANCE for violations of school bus safety laws.

Marandino, on behalf of Cherry Hill and Voorhees Townships, will continue replacing sidewalk/curbs and performing drainage improvements. There will be a lane shift between Haddonfield-Berlin Road in Cherry Hill & Burnt Mill Road in Voorhees.

Thursday August 27, 2026: 1180 White Horse Road – 7:00am to 11:00am. Asphalt Restoration Enterprises, on behalf of New Jersey American Water, will be base paving; there will be a lane shift between Haddonfield-Berlin Road & Executive Drive.

Friday, August 28, 2026: 1244 Kirkwood-Gibbsboro Road – 7:00pm to 3:00pm. Pioneer Pipe, on behalf of New Jersey American Water, will be base paving; there will be alternating traffic with flaggers between Burnt Mill Road & Steven Drive.
