is a comprehensive program of medical oversight, clinical review, and education offered to the emergency medical services community in Burlington and Camden Counties, New Jersey. affiliation will have access to a dedicated Medical Director, interactive chart review and clinical feedback, access to class room as well as internet based education, and access to the Virtua EMS patient simulation lab. contact our team at [email protected]

Today during EMS Week, our teams showed exactly what prehospital care is all about.

Inspira BLS 8B and Medic 46 responded to a serious motorcycle accident and delivered skilled, coordinated care from the roadside through transfer to advanced air medical support.

Scenes like this require focus, teamwork, communication, and trust.

Thank you to the EMTs, paramedics, MedCom communicators, and responding LEO/fire agencies who work together when every minute matters.

Today we celebrate the people who answer the call in every corner of our system.

Our MICU and 911 BLS teams. MedCom dispatchers who keep everything moving. Critical Care Transport clinicians caring for patients between hospitals. Medical Transport crews helping patients get where they need to be safely. Transfer Center and Centralized Bed Management teams working behind the scenes to connect patients with the care they need.

Every role matters. Every shift matters. Every person matters.

Thank you for the long hours, the missed holidays, the teamwork, the compassion, and the calm you bring into difficult moments every single day.

💙 Our Mobile Integrated Health team recently met with the Virtua WomenHeart group to share how MIH and Care at Home are helping bring care beyond traditional walls.

From heart failure support and care after discharge to in-home visits and ongoing monitoring, these programs are helping patients stay connected, supported, and cared for where they are most comfortable — at home. 🏡🚑

Thank you to the WomenHeart group for the warm welcome and thoughtful conversation about how we can continue supporting women living with heart disease.

🚑 During Hospital Week, we are proud to recognize our MICU and OLOL Blood Bank teams as recipients of our CEOs Champion of Humanity Award for our prehospital whole blood program.

This work brings life-saving blood directly to patients at their point of injury when minutes matter most.

From severe trauma to critical hemorrhage, this program gives our teams the ability to begin advanced resuscitation before a patient ever reaches the hospital.

This achievement reflects the commitment of so many people working behind the scenes and on the front lines every day and every night.

Thank you to our field chiefs, assistant chiefs, paramedics, MedCom partners, blood bank teams, and hospital leaders, who make this possible across our system. 🩸

Becky is the calm voice, problem solver, teammate, and go-to person who keeps things moving no matter what the day brings.

She’s also probably the only person who can coordinate MedCom responsibilities, help a teammate, compile a breakfast order, and find the best coupon deal all at the same time.
