Meet our newest member, Claire Schlupp.
Claire was born and raised in New Jersey and has spent most of her life right here in South Jersey. Claire currently works as the Branch Manager for American Heritage Credit Union. Claire decided to join Rotary to network and increase her presence in the community and give back to the community in which she works.

Q: If your life had a highlight reel, what would be one of the top highlights?
Claire: Being a mom to my 8-year-old!
Q: If you had a full extra hour added to your day, how would you spend it?
Claire: Reading a good book outside in the sun
Q: You'll be stranded on a deserted island & can watch only 3 movies for the rest of your life... What are the 3 movies?
Claire: I am not a big movie buff, I can’t sit still long enough 😊
Q: What is something that you can do better than most people? Claire: Get up at 4 AM everyday
Q: If you could only eat out at one restaurant for the rest of your life, which restaurant and why?
Claire: I would eat at Freddy’s in Camden; I love Spanish food & their food hits every time!
Q: What is the best book you’ve ever read and why?
Claire: I really enjoyed The Nix by Nathan Hill. It covered complex topics like vises and family intricacies in the form of satire, so it was very engaging.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Claire: “The time is going to pass regardless” Since the clock is ticking anyway, you may as well use it to build the life you want.
Q: Would you rather travel back in time to meet your ancestors or to the future to meet your descendants?
Claire: I would rather travel back in time- I want to experience life as it happens, I don’t want a peek into the future to ruin the surprises that life have to offer.
