Numerous showers and storms will overspread the area from north to south on Saturday. There is a Slight Risk for excessive rainfall (level 2 of 4) mainly along and north of US 24. Heavy rainfall is likely across much of the area, with scattered flash flooding possible.

Very heavy rainfall occurred last night across portions of Wells/Adams/Huntington/Van Wert Counties that has led to flooding and significant flash flooding. More rainfall is expected through early afternoon that will prolong the flood threat. Be alert for flooded roadways.

Becoming warm and humid this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. A slow-moving front arrives to far northwest Indiana near sunrise Wednesday bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms. This chance of wet weather spreads southeast through the day. An isolated severe storm is possible along and south of US 24, but widespread severe storms are NOT expected.

possible.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Indiana, including the following
areas, Adams, Blackford, Cass IN, Fulton IN, Grant, Huntington,
Jay, Miami, Pulaski, Wabash, Wells and White.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

- Additional rainfall over areas that have had recent heavy
