Meet Ms. Angela Childers — one of the new faces joining the Apache family this fall!

Ms. Childers is teaching 5th grade. She's a Bunker Hill native and a Ball State grad with ten years in education — and she comes to us from Nuiqsut, Alaska, a village on the North Slope well above the Arctic Circle. On her welcome form, next to "summer or winter," she wrote: "I've had enough winter for a lifetime."

She visits a new country every year, builds her own furniture, and has two French bulldogs at home.

She describes the classroom she's building in one word: welcoming.

Welcome to Wabash, Ms. Childers.
