The pool is officially CLOSED for the season! 🏊‍♀️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who visited, swam, attended lessons, celebrated a party, joined us for an event, or simply stopped by. We appreciate each and every one of you and are so grateful for another wonderful summer! 💙

We look forward to seeing you all back at the pool in 2027! 🌞🏖️

A note from one of our Water Aerobics Instructors!!! Way to go!!! City of Wabasha, MN

I want to thank the Wabasha Pool staff for a fantastic summer. Your work and efforts made the days I led water aerobics fantastic. The participants made it fun and I looked forward to every day together. The generous contributions by those that attended these sessions made it possible to donate over $1,400 to the Wabasha Area Food Share. I am looking forward to enjoying these times together starting next June when the pool opens for the 2027 season.

🌴☀️ Greetings from Costa Rica! 🇨🇷🌺

Just a friendly reminder that the Wabasha City Pool is closed today (Saturday, July 25) and tomorrow (Sunday, July 26). 🏊‍♀️💙

Our amazing crew of five lifeguards and our wonderful front desk staff have been doing an incredible job keeping the pool running while our other 11 lifeguards have been enjoying the trip of a lifetime here in Costa Rica! 🌎✈️ We are so thankful for all of their hard work, teamwork, and dedication, and we’re excited they all get a well-deserved weekend off! 👏❤️

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We can’t wait to see everyone back at the pool in just a few days! 🌞💦 Have a safe and wonderful weekend, and we’ll see you all soon! 😎🌊💙

🌴✈️ Pool Update for Our Amazing Patrons! 🏊☀️

Just a heads up to all of our wonderful pool patrons! 💙

As of 6 am this morning, Monday July 20th, 11 of our 16 amazing lifeguards, along with our Pool Director Bridget will be wheels up 🛫 traveling to Costa Rica for the next 8 days as part of an incredible educational school trip! 🇨🇷🌎 This experience will allow them to explore another culture, learn about the environment and conservation, and create memories that will last a lifetime. We are so excited for this opportunity! 🌿🦥🌺

While we’re away, you’ll be in great hands! ❤️ Our 5 fantastic lifeguards and our awesome front desk crew will be keeping the pool running and ready for fun all week long. 🏊‍♀️😎

🚫 The pool will be closed Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26 while our staff is traveling to give our staff time off.

We truly appreciate your patience, support, and understanding as our team takes part in this once-in-a-lifetime learning experience. 💙 We can’t wait to share stories and photos when we return!

🏊‍♀️☀️💦 What an amazing four weeks of swim lessons at the Wabasha Pool! 💙🌊

We are so proud of our incredible Water Safety Instructors (WSIs) and all the hard work, patience, and dedication they put into helping our swimmers learn, grow, and gain confidence in the water. 👏✨

This summer, we had 240 registrations 🎉 with approximately 190 individual swimmers continuing to build their skills, improve their swimming abilities, and become safer in and around the water! 🏊‍♂️🌊 Many swimmers returned for a second session—whether they were repeating a level to strengthen their skills 💪 or moving up to the next level and taking on new challenges! ⭐ Watching their progress has been one of the highlights of our summer! ☀️😊

Our small class sizes and attention to the swimmers are what make the Wabasha Pool swim lesson program so special. 💙🏊‍♀️ Our instructors are able to focus on each swimmer’s individual needs, helping them gain confidence, overcome challenges, and celebrate every accomplishment along the way! 🎉👏

A huge thank you to all of the families who trusted us with your swimmers this summer! 💙🙏 And an even bigger thank you to our amazing WSI team for creating such a positive, encouraging, and fun learning environment! 🌟 Your dedication, energy, and passion are making a lasting impact on our community. 🏊‍♀️💦

Please check your child's goggles. New goggles are being made with glass lenses instead of plastic. We do NOT allow glass in or around our pool because of the dangers that happen if it's broken in the swimming pool. It would require a complete drainage and cleaning of the pool, meaning it would be closed for multiple days (at the earliest) before back up and running.
