✨ SANDRA'S RETIRED ✨

This past Thursday afternoon we celebrated Sandra Marinez's last day at McLennan County Health Services by throwing her a retirement party! We invited all our county friends and family colleagues to join us. We laughed, we cried, we ate good food, and enjoyed good company.

Thank you Sandra for 21 years of great memories and hard work. We hope you enjoy this next chapter of life and will miss you dearly!

Today we’re celebrating someone who truly makes a difference every day — Happy 6th Work Anniversary to John McIntosh! 🎉

John serves as our County Indigent Health Care Program (CIHCP) Eligibility Specialist at McLennan County Health Services, and for the past six years he has been a tremendous asset to both our staff and the clients we serve.

Known for his kindness, dedication, willingness to help, and positive attitude, John has impacted countless lives through his work and compassionate care. Simply put… everybody loves John! 💙

🌱✨ Team Building - Professional Development Day 2026 ✨🌱

Last week our team spent the day planting more than flowers — we planted connection, collaboration, encouragement, and growth.💚

Using gardening as our theme, we were reminded that just like plants, people thrive when they are cared for intentionally. Every flower, vegetable, and seed we placed in the ground represented the unique strengths each person brings to our team. 🌼🌿

From painting plant markers and choosing flowers, to preparing the soil and creating beautiful garden spaces together, the day was filled with teamwork, laughter, creativity, and purpose.

We are grateful for a team that continues to grow together — learning to support one another, nurture strengths, and cultivate an environment where both people and purpose can flourish. 🌻

The finished garden is a beautiful reminder that growth takes patience, teamwork, care, and consistency… and we are excited for all that is ahead in 2026!
