This dept serves as one of the few certified First Responder Organizations in the County. Now serving Chalk Bluff with Station 2 and an area of 36.71 sq miles Volunteer firefighting is a very rewarding and valuable way to serve your community. It takes dedication and many hours of training to become a firefighter. Volunteer Firefighters have always been an integral part of the Elm Mott Fire Depart

ment since its incorporation in 1955. Volunteer Firefighters serve alongside career personnel who volunteer with Elm Mott and engage in firefighting and other duties depending upon their certifications. This dept serves as one of the few certified First Responder Organizations in Mclennan County. Starting out back in 1955, Elm Mott has grown into an area of 19.97 sq miles. Now, incorporating the Chalk Bluff area, we have two stations and a coverage area of 36.71 miles.
