Our social media person is on leave.

1. From the librarians. Should we make this a series?

2. Get a free library card. Send to someone who doesn’t have one yet. It’s 2026. No judgement though.

3. Fines are forgiven in September. Come talk to us and we can check to see if you qualify!

4. Come to our free programs. Really. We put a lot of work into these.

5. Come hang out. We have AC.

6. Please ask us.

7. ❤️

8. DVDs, comics, graphic novels, activity kits, digital resources, and more!

Dolly Parton’s impact goes far beyond music.
Inspired by her father, who never learned to read or write, Dolly started the Imagination Library to help more children grow up with books of their own.
We’re proud to be part of that story through our local Imagination Library partnership. ❤️ Thank you, Dolly!

All September long, we’re celebrating everything you can do with a Waco-McLennan County Library card. And if overdue fines have been keeping you away, it’s also Fine Forgiveness Month. Talk to or email library staff during September to get a fresh start.

September starts soon.

To be fair, the children’s section is a pretty fun place to get distracted.

At all of our library branches, you’ll find books, play, early learning and plenty to explore for our littlest readers.
