🎉 WE FILLED THE LETTER "K"! 🎉WHICH MEANS PAJAMA DAY THIS FRIDAY!🌙💤

Our amazing students have been demonstrating safe, responsible, and respectful behavior every single day, and their hard work paid off—we have officially filled in our very first letter on our campus wide Brag Board! 🛡️✨

Important Dress Code Reminders:

👕 School-Appropriate: Pajamas must follow school dress code with tops and bottoms providing full coverage.

🚫 What to Leave at Home: No sleep masks, slippers, or blankets.

👟 Footwear: Please wear regular school shoes/sneakers for safety.

New tradition at Kendrick as we celebrate our motto for this year, Tradition Meets Tomorrow. The 4th grade team was awarded the Legacy Builder team of the month!! Go Knights!

🥚💥 Talk about handling pressure! Mrs. Munoz's students put their engineering skills and teamwork to the ultimate test in our latest Egg Drop Challenge.

The mission was simple, but far from easy: design and construct a protective structure capable of keeping a raw egg completely intact after a steep 2-meter drop.

Working in teams, our young innovators brainstormed, prototyped, and tested creative designs using limited materials. From shock-absorbing straw cages to custom parachutes, the level of ingenuity was incredible to see.

A huge shoutout to all of our student engineers for embracing the challenge, thinking outside the box, and learning through hands-on fun!

It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces, meeting new families, and reconnecting with returning ones.

We are incredibly excited to begin a new school year together at Kendrick Elementary. This year, as we embrace our theme, Tradition Meets Tomorrow, we look forward to building on the strong traditions of our school while creating new opportunities for every student to learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you for your partnership and for entrusting us with your children. We can’t wait to welcome our Knights back for an amazing first day of school!

As we prepare for a new school year, our community partner, Antioch Church, is hosting a special after-hours prayer gathering for anyone who would like to pray over the students, staff, families, and future of Kendrick Elementary.

This gathering is open to everyone, and all denominations are welcome.
