We regret to inform you that The Waco Volunteer Fire Department has decided to close down our bingo fundraiser on Monday nights, Our last day of Bingo was held last night.

The decision to close down Monday bingo was not easy, but because of the low crowds, and not being able to keep the 41% that the state says we have to keep by law and other overhead cost we just can’t go on operating bingo in the black.

This is not from any misappropriated funds or anything in that nature, we had a complete audit 3 months ago and everything is as it should be.

Over the years, the Waco Volunteers has enjoyed the relationships with our bingo players and We would like to thank all of you and our volunteers that has played bingo and supported us over the years.

The Waco Volunteer Fire Dept. could not have been as successful as it is without your support and loyalty. Thank you for being part of us with bingo and in all its ups and downs. You will be missed, thank you again for your support.

We would like to ask you to continue to support the Whitehall Volunteer Fire Dept. Bingo on Friday nights, along with the Madison County fraternal order of police on Wednesday nights.

We really don’t want to say goodby, so we will leave it as a see ya later for now!!

Due to the rise in flu cases, and our Volunteers being sick Waco Fire Department Bingo Lic # 0176 has been canceled for tonight.

We are heart broken, Mrs. Betty Lou was a staple on Monday Night bingo. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Betty Lou Masters passed away on August 27, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center at the age of 76 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Neal Burnam Masters of Berea. Betty Lou was born in Madison County, KY on October 11, 1945 to the late

We have had a few people call and message asking if we were having bingo because it’s President’s Day.
YES WE ARE HAVING BINGO!! Bring your family and friends and come on out and join us. Doors open at 5pm, and the games start at 7pm!!

Ok folks let’s talk BINGO!!

We canceled bingo Monday night after we opened because we didn’t have enough people to make your pay outs if you had got a bingo.

1. We have raised our pay outs for you to the highest pay outs of any organizations playing.

2. We did not raise your pack prices to make up for the higher payouts we do.

3. We are transparent with our finances, ask to see them and we will show them to you.

4. We try to do the right thing to keep you guys happy.

We have to have over 50 people in the building to play bingo or we lose money.

If you don’t know how bingo works let us explain it to you. We don’t get rich from having bingo games. Everything you buy at the door as in packs we get to keep none of that money, that’s what we use to pay you when you yell bingo.

Where the fire dept. makes our money is from selling pull tabs, all pull tab sells are profit unless we don’t make the door. Then that money also goes to pay the people that bingo.

Our rent is $500 a night.

We spend $10 a night per worker to feed them.

We have to buy the pull tabs.

We have to buy the paper you play bingo on.

So to sum it up for you, sometimes our firefighters work for over 5 hours selling pull tabs and holding bingo to walk out making $200 or making nothing for our night.

We aren’t trying to get rich, we are trying to pay our bills and keep the doors open and the lights on, put fuel in our trucks and serve our community.

So next time you think we are getting rich at bingo and your mad because we have to cancel it because we don’t have the crowd it’s because we can’t afford to take $3800 out of our account and give it away.

Please be more understanding with us. Our people are volunteering there time to serve you at bingo and to serve our community’s.

Let’s talk about Monday Night Bingo!!!

You guys ask to do away with the Odd Ball game we listen, and did away with it.

You guys ask to do away with the dual dob cover all, we listen and did away with it.

You guys wanted the pay out raised we listen, and raised it.

Now we have raised it again for you. We have upped the payout from $3250 to $3850. Attached below is the new program starting this Monday Night. Come on out and support us. We care and we listen.

We raised the pay out for you, and didn’t raise out prices. See you Monday Night. Spread the word!!

Waco Fire Dept. BINGO will be closed Monday Sept. 6th to let our Volunteer Firefighters have the holiday off to spend Labor Day with there family and friends.

Thank you to all our bingo players that continue to support us through out Bingo Games on Monday night.

We will reopen next Monday at 5pm, come on out. $1000 coverall game!!! No more dual dobbs!!
