Pecan Terrace Farmhouse & The Little Farmhouse Library

It’s not only where we live, it is a way of life. It’s town and country living with charm. When you pull onto our street and see the farmhouse, we want the music to swell and the feeling of warmth and comfort to rush over you. When you step through the front gate, you are walking into simpler times where things slow down and life is about family values and the nostalgia of bygone days. The farmhou

se is a mix of old fashioned, vintage, and primitive décor with a whimsical farmhouse culture. We raise produce in our garden, which is watched over by Cecil the Scarecrow. We have pet chickens that give us eggs. We have a pool and a guesthouse called The Barn. Our little over an acre lot is mowed with our small John Deere tractor/riding lawn mower. We have farm dogs, too. And a farmhouse wouldn’t be complete without a front porch with rockers, a swing, and screen doors. All of this country living takes place within the convenience of town. The Little Farmhouse Library is an early education children’s library. Membership is free, and the library is completely nonprofit. We are open bimonthly on Saturdays, and also have special events. On library days we have Story Time, play games, check out books, and give children the experience of farmhouse culture. The library is always in need of books. Donations are appreciated.
