Due to utilities work, the pantry will NOT be open for our morning time tomorrow, Wednesday, August 26th. The pantry will reopen in the afternoon from 12:45-2:45 PM.

📢 IF YOU HAVE A RESERVATION FOR THE MORNING: All reservations made for the morning will be honored during any other reservation time between August 26th-31st, which are as listed:

From Soup Kitchen to Community Tradition 🍲

When Feast of Caring began in 1967, the goal was simple: help the community better understand the experience of those facing hunger by recreating the atmosphere of a soup kitchen.

Over the decades, the event has grown into an evening filled with delicious food, friendly competition, and community spirit through our Soup & Dessert Cook-Off, silent auction, and games.

While Feast of Caring looks different today, its purpose remains unchanged: bringing people together to support our neighbors and help move our community beyond hunger to hope.

☀️ What a summer it has been!

Over the past few months, we've had the privilege of serving our neighbors, welcoming volunteers, partnering with community organizations, and creating opportunities for hope throughout the Greater Waco area.

From pantry visits and summer meals to special events, volunteer projects, and community partnerships, this summer was filled with moments that remind us what is possible when neighbors come together to support one another. 💙

🎒 Back-to-school season is here!

From August 10-14, pantry guests can pick up a Back-to-School Essentials Bag during their pantry visit, while supplies last.

Each bag may include a variety of school supplies and hygiene items to help students start the school year prepared and confident. ✏️🧴📚

Please note that bag contents will vary, and supplies are limited.

We look forward to helping local students head back to school with the essentials they need for a successful year! 💙
