We were blessed with another gift this afternoon -- this time from volunteers Cathy Devorsky and Pat Bajer and their group from the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court of St. Joseph 1729. Thank you, ladies, for your generous and caring hearts!

Shoutout to two of our wonderful volunteers, Sandy and Ralph. For 14 years, they’ve faithfully delivered meals -- and today, before heading out on their weekly route, they stopped by and handed our CEO, Estrellita Doolin, an unexpected gift: a $1,051 donation from their Sunday School class.

A heartfelt thank-you to Sandy and Ralph and to the Boundless Love Sunday School Class from Columbus Avenue Baptist Church for supporting our mission and our seniors. This is what love in action looks like.

It's the final weekend of our Big Texas Christmas Present, ending on Sunday, December 14th. Bring donations to the Museum (100 Texas Ranger Trail) to receive one FREE admission per item donated. TRHFM is open 9:00am to 4:30pm daily. Acceptable and much needed items include, but are not limited to:
- Non-perishable, individual foods (granola bars, jello, snacks, canned goods)
- Hygiene and toiletries (lotion, bath products, toothbrush, haircare)
- Warmth and comfort (gloves, socks, blankets, scarves)
- Senior gifts (large print books, word puzzle books, eyeglass care kit)
- Pet foods (hard or canned dog and cat food, kitty litter)
Let’s support our local seniors and have a bit of fun at the same time!

This is the bell we ring whenever a big gift comes in. Yesterday, it rang louder — and longer — than ever.

A remarkable estate gift just moved our Step Up for Seniors campaign from 41% to 68% of our $1 million goal. We are overwhelmed. We are grateful. And we are one giant step closer to ending the waitlist.
